Dokter Doni SpOT: Ini Macam Pengobatan 'Saraf Kejepit'

RSI BANJARNEGARA - Pengobatan Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) atau saraf kejepit menurut Dokter Spesialis Ortopedi dan Traumatologi RSI Banjarnegara, Jawa Tengah dr Ahmad Ramdoni SpOT dapat melalui fisioterapi, farmakologis dan melalui proses pembedahan.
Pengobatan melalui fisioterapi diantaranya dengan kompres hangat atau dingin, Iontophoresis (pemberian steroid melalui kulit untuk mengurangi inflamasi), Unit TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator menggunakan stimulasi listrik untuk mengurangi sensasi nyeri punggung bawah dengan mengganggu impuls nyeri yang dikirimkan ke otak).

Ada juga mengganakan Ultrasound (Ultrasound terutama berguna dalam menghilangkan serangan nyeri akut dan dapat mendorong terjadinya penyembuhan jaringan), dan modifikasi gaya hidup dengan mengurangi berat badan yang berlebihan serta melatih kemampuan otot yang terganggu akibat HNP.

Pengobatan melalui terapi farmakologis diantaranya dengan pemberian obat analgesik, obat anti radang, dan obat pelemas otot (Muscle Relaxant).

Dokter spesialis tulang (Orthopaedi dan Traumatologi) akan menyarankan pengobatan melalui terapi pembedahan pada pasien HNP dengan tingkat keparahan Grade 3 dan 4. Prosedur operasi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengobati HNP adalah sebagai berikut:
Disektomi (discectomy), disektomi adalah prosedur pengambilan sebagian diskus intervertebralis.

Diskektomi perkutan (percutaneous discectomy), adalah prosedur pengambilan sebagian diskus intervertebralis dengan menggunakan jarum secara aspirasi.

Laminektomi,(laminotomy/laminectomy/foraminotomy/facetectomy). adalah proses pembedahan dengan melakukan dekompresi neuronal dengan mengambil beberapa bagian dari vertebra baik parsial maupun total.

"Ada lagi, Spinal fusion dan sacroiliac joint fusion adalah proses pembedahan menggunakan graf pada vertebra sehingga terbentuk koneksi diantara vertebra sehingga terjadi stabilitas," ujarnya. (*)
