Dokter Doni SpOT: Ini Cara Mencegah 'Saraf Kejepit'

RSI BANJARNEGARA - Akrab dimasyarakat awam sebutan 'saraf kejepit', padahal secara medis hal tersebut disebut dengan istilah Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP). Ingin tahu bagaimana mencegah HNP ini? Simak penjelasan dokter ahli tulang dari RSI Banjarnegara ini.

Dokter Spesialis Ortopedi dan Traumatologi RSI Banjarnegara, Jawa Tengah dr Ahmad Ramdoni SpOT menjelaskan, mencegah Hernia Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) bisa berbagai cara diantaranya seperti tertulis di bawah ini.

Diet, ahli diet merekomendasikan pasien HNP untuk mengurangi berat badan agar tulang belakang tidak menopang beban terlalu berat.

Olahraga, melakukan aktivitas olahraga secara rutin untuk melatih kelemahan otot dan mengurangi kelebihan lemak dalam tubuh. Dokter menyarankan untuk melakukan olahraga minimal 30 menit dalam sehari atau 3-5 kali dalam seminggu.

"Berenang dan berlari merupakan pilihan yang tepat bagi terapi penyembuhan HNP melalui olahraga," sebut dokter ramah ini.

Aktivitas, pasien dengan HNP sebaiknya mulai menghindari aktivitas berat dan menyebabkan trauma.

"Hindari kegiatan mengangkat barang yang terlalu berat serta perhatikan posisi yang ergonomis. Selain itu, penting untuk menggunakan alas yang datar dan keras untuk menjaga alignment tulang," ujarnya.
