Makan Ikan Baik untuk Kesehatan Jantung

RSI BANJARNEGARA - "Yang tidak makan ikan tenggelamkan" masih ingat jargon tersebut? Ya, Susi Pudjiastuti, Sang Menteri Kelautan kala itu sering mengungkapkan kalimat tersebut.

Sebuah satire, ajakan untuk masyarakat Indonesia agar gemar makan ikan. Lalu bagaimana sebenarnya kontribusi ikan untuk tubuh kita?

Cobalah memasukkan ikan dan makanan laut ke dalam daftar makanan yang dikonsumsi. Ini memberikan manfaat kesehatan yang luar biasa, meningkatkan pola makan dan membantu mencapai kesehatan yang baik.
Mengapa ikan dan makanan laut sangat dianjurkan sebagai bagian penting dari diet sehat? Berikut adalah manfaat yang terkait dengan makan ikan setidaknya 3 kali per minggu:

Ikan seperti salmon, tuna, sarden, dan kerang kaya akan asam lemak Omega-3. Ini membantu membangun dan mendukung membran sel yang sehat. Meskipun ini hanya beberapa contoh ikan yang harus dionsumsi, disarankan untuk meningkatkan konsumsi semua jenis ikan dan makanan laut.

Manfaat lain dari makan ikan yang kaya asam lemak Omega-3 adalah kesehatan jantung. Meskipun tidak semua ikan mengandung asam lemak Omega-3 yang tinggi, mereka semua berkontribusi dalam jumlah yang penting jika dimakan secara teratur.
